# Seamless Login (No Seed Phrase Needed)

The biggest barrier to crypto adoption has always been onboarding. Socio removes it entirely.

## Why it's so easy

Most crypto platforms make you:

❌ Create a separate account with email + password

❌ Install a browser extension

❌ Write down a 12–24 word seed phrase

❌ Save a private key file somewhere safe<br>

**Socio does none of that.**

## What actually happens

1. **Click "Login with X"** on the Socio homepage.
2. **Authorize** with your X account (the standard, secure Twitter authorization flow).
3. That's it. You're in.

## What happens behind the scenes

* Socio uses **Privy**, a trusted authentication provider, to verify that you're really you.
* A **brand-new wallet is generated automatically** and securely stored for you.
* You don't need to understand wallets, gas, or keys to get started.

**You're always in control.** The wallet belongs to you — not to Socio. You can export your private key anytime from Settings and manage your assets in any external wallet. See **Wallet Export & Self-Custody** for details.

## Who can join?

Anyone with an X (Twitter) account — from first-time crypto explorers to veteran degens, KOLs with millions of followers, and retail investors just starting out.

## Troubleshooting

* **Login not working?** Make sure you're authorizing the correct X account.
* **Need a second account?** You can use multiple X accounts — each one gets its own Socio wallet.
